Move Over Mary Lou Retton

Here's a few poses from our future gymnast:

A couple of days ago while the kids were at school, I was sitting on the couch reading and out came Toot sporting her brand new swimming suit. Though we had no plans of any water activities quite yet, she still was very excited to get this thing on and wear it the entire day.

It didn't take long for her performance tendencies to kick in. She was frolicking around the house doing summersaults, stretches, tumbles and anything else related to being a gymnast.

She came over and whispered in my ear. "Ok mom you say 'our next performance will be by Alayna and she's wearing a rainbow suit' ok mom?" Then she would run to the couches flip up on them, and roll to the floor, tumbling and stretching as a gymnast would do. Each time ending up with a finishing pose such as the one above.

This went on for quite awhile. I became the official "announcer". Each time I was to introduce her with a new name. When she finished I would clap and yell the normal "yoo hoo/ yee haw/ and bravo's" that are so commonly used at such an event. And then on we would go with yet another alias. It was so hilarious not to mention highly entertaining.

Here's a couple more

This was her beginning stance. She took this very seriously as you can see by her expression. She's in deep concentration.

Clearly this girl has some performing blood in her. And that smile speaks volumes.
